All tours begin in front of Waco Escape Rooms at 711 Washington Avenue unless prearranged with your guide. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour in order to ensure a timely start and additional time for signing necessary waivers.
For our 2 hour public tours, the cost is $25/person on Sundays through Wednesdays and $35/person for Thursdays through Saturdays. For our 2 hour private tours, the cost is $250 on Sundays through Wednesdays and $350 on Thursdays through Saturdays.
Our bike has seating for 14 passengers plus our driver. 10 of the seats include pedaling, 2 do not, and there are an additional bench on the back of the bike for two to sit on.
Guest must be 13 or older to ride the bike. To pedal comfortably you must be at least 5'3" but if you're not, don't stress...take the bench seat! Unfortunately, due to the type of vehicle, customers over 325lbs will not be able to comfortably pedal, but again, may choose the bench seat.
Everyone pedals together making it relaxing and fun! Our bike moves approximately 5-8 mph making it a leisurely pedal. Whether you have 4 people or 14 people, you definitely won't be huffing and puffing or breaking a sweat. We have an electric assist motor which can help move things along if needed.
With any moving vehicle there is some risk involved. However, our drivers are there to keep you as safe as possible. If you're still worried...we are happy to provide you with a helmet!
Our standard tours are 2 hours in length. If you rent a private tour, we book for 2 hours but we can adjust the length to what fits best with your wants.
Absolutely! All of our tours are BYOB, beer and wine only and no glass bottles. We make pitstops and have specials at local bars on our downtown bar crawl but you can feel free to bring drinks on any of our tours. We don't stop for drinks on our Around the Town tour.
Our tour rates do not include drinks on the bike or at local stops. We have worked hard to curate great deals and exclusive specials solely for our guests, but riders should be prepared to spend additional dollars at each of the locations we visit.
As a general rule, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy to receive full reimbursement of one’s purchase. Inside of 24 hours, guests will not receive reimbursement. In the case of rain, cold weather, or other justified cancellation, our team will make a judgment call on outside conditions for if it is safe or destructive to the experience to go out. If we cancel due to weather, we will fully reimburse guests or work with them to reschedule their event.
As of right now, we launch our daily pedal tours at 3 pm and 8 pm. Our standard 3 pm tour is the Around the Town tour and our 8 pm tour is the Downtown Bar Crawl tour. If you’re interested in a different time or tour than is scheduled, we have the ability to customize your experience through private rental bookings. For more info, email us at [email protected].
We currently offer two separate tours for our guests to choose from:
- The Around the Town tour is a fantastic, family-friendly way to see the downtown corridor. We visit three to four local sites, stores, and boutiques all around downtown Waco. Riders will additionally enjoy some of our favorite local treats, challenges, and landmarks along the way. This a great way to spend the afternoon and to learn about many of the newest developments and attractions coming to the city.
- The Downtown Bar Crawl tour is another amazing experience exploring the budding downtown bar scene. We visit three local bars and a place to eat as well as nearby famous sites, landmarks, and neighborhoods for riders enjoyment. Riders will also enjoy special deals and discounts available only to our guests throughout downtown.
Absolutely! If you have a private event you're wanting to do with us, we have 2-hour rentals available for $250 Sunday-Wednesday and $350 Thursday-Saturday. With private rentals, we can customize start time, tour routes, music selection, bike decorations and almost every other element of the experience. If you're interested in a custom private tour, we'd recommend reaching out to [email protected] so that we can talk more specifically about your wants and needs.
Definitely. Captain Danny will steer the ship on all of our tours allowing you to simply sit back and enjoy the ride. No need to worry about driving or navigating where to go next, that's what we're here for.
You bet! We have a Bluetooth speaker on the bike that allows us to stream our own playlists or yours if you'd like to become the tour's designated DJ for the night.
If you're not up for pedaling but you still want to enjoy the ride, we have 4 seats available that are for riders wanting to skip the work and relax.
The bike averages around 5-8mph making it a wonderful speed for enjoying the good weather.
Yes! On our private tours you have full capability of customizing your experience to make it exactly what you want.
As of right now, we do not. But, please reach out if you're interested and we'd love to talk more about your event and see about logistically coordinating the bike coming to you.
Absolutely! We have general gift cards available through our book now button on this site. All you have to do is pick the dollar amount you'd like to gift and go from there.
We'd recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before launch time. That way we can ensure everyone signs the waiver, and that we have time to explain everything before taking off.
We'd recommend wearing close-toed shoes and something comfortable for the ride. Try not to wear anything that would dangle near the chain while pedaling. Imagine you're riding a regular bike to consider what to wear. Especially on a cooler evening, make sure you bring a sweater or anything else you might need to stay warm.
We can take a group of 2 or 14 out no problem. We'd say the ideal size is around 8 people for a fun night out with friends.
If you're bringing outside drinks, you can feel free to bring a cooler with ice for them to be stored in. Additionally, consider bringing mobile accessories like wristlets instead of purses and definitely make sure you have your ID on the bar crawl.
